Do dog coats make a difference for keeping dogs warm?
Yes, dog coats make a difference for dogs, especially in cold or windy weather. Our wool dog jackets are windproof and made to last, so your best friend stays snug. The wool gives natural warmth and the rugged look we're known for. Our coats keep your dog looking sharp, even after a slog through the mud. They're made with the same rugged quality as the clothing we make for people.
What's the best way to take care of a dog coat?
Take care of a dog coat by washing it once every 1-2 weeks. Dog coats are hand washable, though follow the label on the coat. We recommend a hand wash in lukewarm water for our wool dog coats. Look after it and it'll last your dog season after season, just like our clothing. Give the oilskin collar a re-wax now and then to keep the waterproofing strong.
How do I choose the right size dog coat for my dog?
Use our Swanndri dog coat size guide to choose the right size dog coat for your dog. Our dog coats have wide velcro chest straps and a girth strap for an easy, adjustable fit. Getting the size right gives your dog better comfort and protection at work or play. There's no guesswork needed when you use the guide, and a good fit keeps your dog comfortable all day.
